12" Motorized 'Lights & Sounds' Off-Road Monster Truck is one of the Maxx Action off-road toy trucks we build, and it is held to the same standard as everything else in the yard. It carries its own light and sound set; the body measures about 12 inches end to end.
What you actually get in the hand is this: The eye-catching lighting will brighten up any room. Push one of four buttons on top of the cab to hear powerful automotive sounds effects and unique rock music, just like a real vehicle.
Activate the motorized engine and take off down the road at lightening speeds. The monster truck will go forwards, backwards and jam to the beat of the music. The almost 9'' long vehicle has big wheels to handle any surface. Watch as it zooms across the floor, races through the sand box and rolls over anything in its path. Perfect for kids who want to play anytime, anywhere.
Get ready to race and rally with the Maxx Action Monster Truck. Activate the color shifting lights as the bright orange monster truck races down the open road toward action packed fun! Push one of the four buttons to hear the power of the rumbling engine, tire screeching and other realistic vehicle sounds. It even plays unique rock music so you can jam out and turn heads while you pretend to catch some air. The toy vehicle has a motorized engine and huge tires. With the push of a button it will speed across any surface.
Give it rough ground — carpet pile, lawn, a pile of cushions — and it does what it was drawn for.

Living with this Maxx Action toy truck
The only performance figure we argue about internally is whether the lamps and the audio are still crisp a year after the box came open, and that is what 12" Motorized 'Lights & Sounds' Off-Road Monster Truck was drawn around. Everything else on the box is description. That is the performance test it has to pass before we will put our name on the cab.
Service on this one is deliberately dull: grit brushed dry out of the hubs instead of oiled, a barely damp cloth on the bodywork, and the accessories washed properly in warm water. That is the whole maintenance list. If it fails inside normal service rather than wearing out, raise it through the order page of the partner store that handled the sale.
