Our partner had no seller for 27" 3-N-1 Crane Truck when we last checked on 2026-10-24. Models go in and out of stock through the year, so it is worth a look again later.

27" 3-N-1 Crane Truck is the Maxx Action toy construction truck that tends to get picked up first and put down last. It works a crane boom on a spooled line; it carries its own light and sound set; the body measures about 27 inches end to end.

The specifics, straight off the box: This 24 inch truck features a boom that extends up to 27 inches, lifts in the air up to 30 inches, and spins 360-degrees to tackle any construction challenge, no matter how big. Watch as a child is transported to their very own construction zone when they activate the life like lights and sounds with a push of the buttons.

Use the three joysticks to extend the boom, spin the cab, or raise and lower the cable. Perfect for stacking bricks, lifting debris or demolishing structures. Send the truck forward or in reverse with the push of the buttons and watch it take off.

Take playtime to new heights with the Maxx Action 3-N-1 Crane Truck! With a massive 27 inch extending crane that reaches heights of 30 inches, this action packed construction truck is ready to take on the toughest adventures. Kids can use the three joystick controllers to lift, move and smash their way through any adventure! The possibilities are endless as they stack up the included building bricks using one of the different attachments - scoop, hook or wrecking ball. And when it’s time to see how fast this truck can go, just press the forward or reverse button and watch it take off.

We mark this one for ages 3+, which is about grip size and small parts rather than how hard it is to enjoy. Add something to haul the spoil and the yard turns into a working loop rather than a shelf.

Living with this toy construction truck

We rate 27" 3-N-1 Crane Truck on performance rather than packaging, and performance here means whether a crane boom on a spooled line still works after a season on a hard floor. On that measure the performance holds up, which is why we have not redrawn it.

Keeping it in service is a kitchen-table job: grit brushed dry out of the hubs instead of oiled, a barely damp cloth on the bodywork, and the accessories washed properly in warm water. Nothing here needs a workshop, and nothing here voids anything. Anything that breaks inside normal service goes back through the order page of the partner store that handled the sale, not through us.

Where this toy construction truck fits on a kids’ site

On a working site this is the lifting end of the loop. Vertical work is its own axis, and it is the job a child reaches for once flat ground is boring. A single truck is a toy; three that can hand work to each other are a site, and the jobs this one leaves open are these:

  • Digging — an excavator or a backhoe, with a rotating turret and a bucket that bites.
  • Loading — a skid steer loader or a wheel loader, scooping with forks or a front bucket.
  • Hauling — a dump truck, or a long hauler with a trailer behind the cab.
  • Clearing — a bulldozer, pushing spoil ahead of a blade until the ground is flat.

Add cones, a barrier and a worker figure from whatever comes in the box and the floor stops being a floor. Built tough matters more once several vehicles are in play, because the one that gets dropped is always the one somebody else needs next. Big street haulers and the quad runners in our off-road collection run the same wheels and take the same punishment, so they mix into a yard of construction toys without looking out of place.

Kids who have the whole loop keep going long after the fun of unwrapping has worn off, and that is where the hours come from: not from one impressive model, but from a sequence that closes and starts again.

Awesome toy with awesome features

My grandson has begged for a crane to complete his truck collection. He was ecstatic to get this for Christmas and played with it all day. It is durable for this rough guy. It is the size of all his other trucks and perfect for a 5 year old. No issues and he is rough on toys. This has held up great for months. Great gift!

I take back my poor review!

I was disappointed to find that only 2 of 3 main crane functions did not work out of the box. HOWEVER, I discovered there is a button on the bottom with 3 settings: "try me," "off," and "on." turns out it is shipped in the "try me" mode so people can try the boom raise feature to gain interest. When I switched it to "on" everything now works!!!! Very happy!

broke it immediately

My 3 year old loves this thing. He tries to carry it around everywhere but he struggles because it's huge. Great truck but 2 of the features broke before we even got to put in the batteries because he carried it by the neck of the crane. but he still loves it
